Product Quality, Sustainability and Food Safety Policy
Alvapack is the Italian company capable of solving any problem relating to the packaging of fresh and fresh-cut fruit and vegetables, offering itself as a partner to its customers rather than a mere supplier. Indeed, Alvapack designs films for a wide variety of applications, and its focus is on preserving product freshness and integrity, including through innovative packaging that extends shelf-life.
Alvapack Ltd has enjoyed success thanks to a variety of factors that are considered fundamental by management:
➡ comunicazione lungo tutta la filiera;
➡ Maximum customer satisfaction through full compliance with agreements.
➡ Sales policy aimed at continuous expansion and improvement of market positioning.
➡ Effective communication throughout the supply chain.
➡ Expert, motivated staff.
➡ Well-designed production environment.
➡ Attentive management of product quality and safety.
➡ Constant compliance with all regulations applicable to the product in order to guarantee its safety.
➡ Proper integration of the company into the social fabric.
➡ Constant focus on new ecological and sustainable products.
➡ Range of innovative and improved solutions.
Each of these factors is considered strategic for the company’s sustained success. Internally, Alvapack’s management promotes a culture of Quality and Product Safety as it believes that the quality of the products and services offered and customer satisfaction can only be achieved through the commitment of all those who work in and for the company, so as to achieve an improvement in its organisation and a reduction in operating costs moving forward.
To this end, the management has opted for the adoption of a Quality and Product Safety Management System as a means that can ensure the systematic achievement of the quality levels required by customers. It also decided to certify its management system according to the following standards:
✅ BRC Global Standard for Agents and Brokers developed by the British Retail Consortium in order to provide external evidence of the company’s commitment to achieving its quality objectives.
✅ ISCC PLUS International Sustainability and Carbon Certification, focused on the concept of circular economy to communicate the company’s interest in sustainable products to its stakeholders.
This document constitutes Alvapack’s commitment to compliance with the requirements of the standards mentioned above. Management ensures its adequate dissemination and understanding to all stakeholders, especially where operations directly related to quality are carried out.
With the introduction of the Quality and Product Safety Management System, the company’s management intends to define the action principles and the results sought in order to eliminate non-conformities, committing the organisation to identify, assess and keep under control the causes it can exert an influence on, and, where this is not possible, to seek to minimise the effects, taking corrective actions. To this end, the company’s management establishes and maintains a plan for the development and continuous improvement of the quality culture and product safety, and commits to periodically reviewing the Management System and this policy, giving it adequate visibility.
